Susan B. Allen Immediate Care Clinic - Augusta

The Susan B. Allen Immediate Care Clinic in Augusta offers treatment for minor illnesses and injuries 7 days a week, from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., including holidays (holiday hours may vary).  Patients do not need to schedule appointments to be seen.

Typical trips to the clinic will most likely be for fevers, rashes, ear infections, headaches and minor lacerations or injuries. Care will be provided by an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).

Some of the common illnesses treated at the Susan B. Allen Immediate Care Clinic include:

  • Allergic Reactions (mild)
  • Asthma (mild to moderate)
  • Back Pain
  • Colds
  • Cough
  • Eye irritations/pinkeye
  • Flu Symptoms
  • Insect or animal bites (not severe)
  • Mild abdominal pain
  • Minor burns (including sunburn)
  • Minor cuts, lacerations or abrasions
  • Sinus infections
  • Sprains or strains
  • Sore throat
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Vomiting, diarrhea

The facility has its own diagnostic imaging (x-ray) equipment, used for normal imaging exams (chest x-rays, fractures, etc.), and performs waived lab testing on site (waived lab tests are defined as “simple laboratory examinations and procedures that have an insignificant risk of an erroneous result.”)
